Hello!

My name is Serena and I am an experienced couchsurfer. I have been couchsurfing since 2015, and been travelling all over Europe through it. I am 21 years old and a student at the moment.

I am from Sweden and study there as well. I study geoscience, which came from my love of being outdoors. I like hiking, running and cycling in the mountains the most, and my vacations are often center around it. I have walked Skåneleden in Sweden, Eagle way in Austria, Everest Base Camp in Nepal, GR221 in Mallorca, Maclehose Trail in Hong Kong, Lanndmannalaugur in Iceland and Dartmoor in England.

I like talking about our environment, politics, philosophy, psychology and human health. But also about lighter topics like travelling, skin care and food.

I have experience in couchsurfing, hiring Airbnb and Warmshowers. I have done these in Sweden, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and England.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting local people from places I visit, and have found couchsurfing being the easiest way of meeting people for that reason. I also like showing people around my own city and introducing them to Swedish culture and the nice food we have here.
