About Me
Hello! My name is Serena and I'm a young traveler and I recently graduated from my undergrad. I've lived in The Netherlands for 6 months, and have traveled to 5 continents so far. My passion is to try new things and adventure to more countries in the future. I love learning about different cultures, meeting new people, hiking, being outdoors in nature, taking photos, playing with animals (as well as my dog!) and making the most out of experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, learning more about an area, and talking with locals. I'm new to couchsurfing, but I enjoy traveling so much that I'm comfortable living with and staying with people who I am just meeting for the first time - I've stayed in several hostels in various countries so I am more than used to interacting with new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered in Thailand doing marine conservation work for a month during the summer of 2016, learning about coral reefs, studying marine life, doing shoreline and sea clean-ups of plastic and cigarette butts, educating students at a local school, planting mangrove trees, etc. Definitely an amazing experience, and it changed how I view the environment and my use of plastics!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn, and to share and I'm eager to connect with hosts! Story exchanging is great, and exploring cities together is very fun as well!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love talking with and meeting new people by sharing stories and connecting.
