One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up spending time every summer at my great-grandmas cottage in northern Michigan. Water is pumped by hand, dishes washed in pans, and heat provided by a wood stove. Baths were soaping up in the lake, and our makeshift inner-tubing involved a rowboat. The joy of fresh air and freedom from civilization far outweighed any discomfort. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger.
