I was born and raised in Hong Kong and went to an International School there until I was 15 before being whisked off to boarding school in Auckland New Zealand for my last 3 years of High School, then I moved to Wellington, NZ where I completed my Bachelors degree in Architectural Studies majoring in Landscape Architecture, then decided I had enough of New Zealand and am currently on an exchange in Munich, Germany...as if I couldn't get enough of moving around my next stop is San Francisco, Berkeley where I will finish my 2 year Masters Degree. Just to add to this mix, my mum is Filipino and my dad is New Zealander and they now both live in the Philippines as a retired couple out in the mountains of the Philippines. - travel is my nature

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Such a new concept, I mean I've hosted my friends a lot and the more I've been travelling the more I've realised how amazing opening your life to strangers can be, the experiences are invaluable I feel and a really cool way of seeing a place, hostels can tend to look and do the same thing over and over again.

Interests

Mountains, River, Sea. Outdoors anything. I get really angsty if its a lovely day and I'm not out the door before noon, I'm just up for any adventure.
I'm also a bit of a gym fiend - love yoga but I'm very inflexible so that's a work in progress and I'm trying to become vegan also a work in progress, I mainly only eat white meat at this point in time once a week or so and then mainly veges :) I'm pretty vegan when it comes to beauty products + household products - don't like to use plastic anything (bags bottles etc) mainly for environmental and ethical reasons but always a work in progress but I'm no preacher, each to their own I'm just a passionate person when it comes to the environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music really depends how I'm feeling, I can be a sucker for rap, old school rap, new rap, Kanye is my guilty pleasure, this is when I'm feeling particularly bad ass. On the road I love Jack Johnson type music or indie pop or rock, chilled out cruisy stuff. and sometimes I just love a good ole mainstream beyonce song to belt out to.
Movies, i love superhero movies haha X-men is my favourite.
Books, I find it hard to find a really good book that I get stuck into but I'm lately into murder mystery type genre.
