About Me
Have discovered the cure for all ailments is to laugh, and to be nice. Helping others smile always makes me feel good. I am a wee bit extroverted and a little bit strange at times. I don't embarrass easily. Love to meet new people. Want to travel everywhere and see everything. I like to feed ducks. Often sit by rivers when I can and have conversations with them (the ducks I mean, although I do occasionally converse with the rivers also). They haven't started talking back yet sadly. I play in leaves, jump in puddles and walk along fences. I love blowing bubbles. I want to try so many different things, and live my life as boldly as I can, trying not to let fear hold me back from anything. I love to dance, and do Swing Dancing as a hobby (think the dancing in WWII movies, similar to Rock n roll). I hate that I'm self concious. I am useless at remembering to take medication, so avoid visiting doctors unless it's really really necessary. I am cheeky and mischievious, in the best of ways. Will always help others out where possible. People make very happy.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC I like a ridiculous amount of music from many different genres... love Swing, Indie, bluegrass, folk, opera... all sorts. Movie wise, Singing in the rain is my favourite. I love old films esp MGM musicals, indie films and anything a little bit quirky or with a great soundtrack. My favourite books are normally non fiction, but give me some CS Lewis, Bryce Courtney or Dr Seuss and I'm equally happy :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What I find amazing changes from day to day. Skydiving blew my mind, so so beautiful, volunteering with elephants in Thailand was beyond amazing, seeing the slums in Bombay was indesicrabably inspiring.....but if I really think about it my most amazing experiences are always to do with my friends and family and what they have taught me. I am fortunate to have shared space with some undeniably incredible and beautiful people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - I can teach about my hometown and my country some of the amazing things about it that never make it into the Lonely Planet. I adore RF and will always want to share that with people. I can teach different arts/crafts/jewelery making. I can teach/share about music. I love music of all varieties to the point of obsession and am never quite so animated as when I am having a conversation about music that I love. I can share a a bit of glass half full and getting joy out of little things... I think that's the greatest thing anyone can teach learn or share, just loving life!! As for me learning - there is so much I want to learn about - more music, more art, people, life, rockclimbing, playing the guitar, surfing.... if it's something I can't do already then I want to learn it!
