I’m Serena, I’m from Italy and now I'm travelling all around Asia 😊
I lived in Iceland last year and it was my first experience outside of Italy. I love go around, camping and hiking in this country, the views are wonderful and always they surprise me!
From there my love for travel increase and now I never wanna stop to do it!

I’m curious girl, I like not take all too seriously, black humor and laugh a lot! I always smile because the life it’s just amazing and I try my best to go out of my comfort zone!
I like to socialise and meet new people and listen to all the incredible stories they have.
I tried my best to embroider, I tried climbing and I didn’t feel my arms all the week after, but I like change activity and try a new one.
I like adrenaline activities and I like also complain a bit while I’m doing it 😂.
It’s hard say no to new experiences!

I travelled around of Europe during my college years, and every time I can, now I’m getting ready to leave Iceland and travel around Asia for some months.

I couldn’t host because of the flatemates, but I’m always available to help and give some recommendations, share some hike or have a beer together.

Crazy experience I did:
- parachute jump
- watched an active volcano in Iceland
- swam in the ocean
- watched a geyser while the Northern Lights danced above me
- I have hiked with high cliffs despite my fear of heights
- swam between two tectonic plates, the Eurasian and North American plates in Iceland
- hike/climb to Snæfellsjökull glacier
-zipline even if I'm afraid of the heights

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Part of the trip is to meet new people, know the story behind them and understand the culture of the country that I'm visiting!
Also I find fun and inspiring sharing a trip with new friends and sharing tips, hikes, beers and a lot of laughs!

Interests

I like to try new activities so I'm always changing interests, I made craft items with friends and some paint.
I like to play cards, to look at the nature around me during the hike, and to read books.
For a few months I practiced yoga and I loved it.

I can teach Italian and the right way to use this (🤌🏻). I studied biology of nutrition so I can help with a healthy diet and some suggestions.

Even if I have Italian's blood I'm not an amazing cook but I can always try to make Lasagna 😋
