I work in post-secondary/higher education, I'm a current business student, and a dance teacher in a show choir company. I've studied music my whole life too and love to sing!

During the school season, I am very busy, so I am excited to take some time to travel, have new experiences, and make memories!

I love the depths of the human experience. My broader life goal is to feel awake, alive, and present in everything that I do, every connection I make, and everywhere that I go. With this love of the human experience comes a mad curiosity into the diversity of ways we can all experience it! I try my best to be open-hearted, open-minded, eager, and positively opportunistic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One thing that excites me the most about travelling is meeting new people, learning from them, and experiencing new ways of life! I'd love to learn about the city I'm visiting from someone who lives there. It sounds like an engaging, adventurous way to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be trained in singing classical music, musical theatre, and jazz.

Now I love, indie folk/rock/soul music, christian music, neo-funk, modern classical, some psych genres, latin music, and many more. I lightly dabble in songwriting and I like to plunk around on a guitar and piano from time to time.

I love books on spirituality, psychology, health, and productivity. I'd like to expand my reading horizons into the fiction genre so I'm open to recommendations!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't watch TV or Movies, or use social media, but I'm generally always learning something in my free time! I consider myself a heart-centered and emotionally intuitive person, so I'm very curious about psychology, even from an evolutionary perspective, the relationship between men/women/ people in society, and what makes people the way that they are! I was sometimes tokened as "the therapist friend", so I love deep conversations about memories and significant life experiences. I also love learning about healthy living, languages (even though I'm bad at it), and spirituality, as spirituality has always been a very important part of my life since I was a child, even though it has taken very many different forms as my life has progressed. I love to ponder all things God, the after-life, and the origin of the universe. This orientation towards life also informs my values and my convictions, so you can trust me to be a person who lives by honesty, respect, generosity, and integrity.
