About Me
Hello! I'm Serena, on papers italian and 25, moved to Berlin in may 2019 and started working almost right away in a cafe that I eventually managed for a few years until may '24, when I decided to quit and re-think my life.
I graduated in Art Studies with a focus on experimental film theory.
I grew up in a small city in the South of Italy, spending a lot of time with my grandparents in the countryside hanging out with animals, plants and other farmers. Up until now I can't think of sweeter memories, l've probably never been as peacefully happy as when I was there, covered up in earth, laying on the grass, picking up fruits from the trees, playing with dogs and donkeys. I’ve been thinking for a while now to try to restart living that way, closer to the nature, and eventually have my own farm & animal sanctuary. That's why I'm planning on working and travelling around the most rural areas in LATAM for a few months. I'm extremely passionated and a very hard-worker. I’m here hoping to share and connect with travellers around the globe and learn more about different cultures and ways of living.
Hope we'll have a good time!
I usually prefer travelling around remote areas or small towns, not too interested in cities at the moment :)
I'm into a lot of things, feel free to reach out if you believe you too are a loving, compassionate and overall decent human being 🫶🏻
Ps. queer & poly if you care to know x

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mostly post-rock, ambient, dream pop, post-punk, dark-wave, cold-wave, old italian music, experimental and much more. Periodically into different stuff. Often I don’t listen to anything at all. Currently into argentinian rock, portuguese and brazilian traditional music.
Books and movies: just so much it'd be hard to mention all of it. My literary culture is mostly classic with some contemporary gems and mangas, but I’ve lately started reading more on feminism, psychology, philosophy, linguistic, self-help etc.
I'm mostly into experimental films, but enjoy a lot of other things too, love anime and kdramas are my secret pleasure (yes I said it).
Teach, Learn, Share
Not sure I got much to teach, but very open to share whatever I have!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I adapt easily to most situations, l'd say I'm a fairly good cook (love experimenting), I can help with anything needed x
