My name is Serena Wong ! I am 26 years old. I can say i am a mixture of Chinese- Hindu - Irish , so i don't mind at all discovering new cultures!!

i love to travel, discover new places and meeting new peeps. I LOVE to socialise, am a very out-going type of person!

I studied Management and Finance, but have a lot more interest in completely different things. Living on a paradise island in the Indian Ocean, i feel very close to nature.

I also LOVE ANIMALS.. of all kinds!

Willingly accepting guests when possible, and would be very happy to make you discover my little island =]

i've been to so many places before, but i feel there is so much more to see. The plan is to continue traveling around the world and live among locals to embrace their culture and to share mine :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Recently, i've been planning some trips around the world for the next few years, and would loveeee to make the most of them by staying at the locals' :)

My sister and I made so many life long friends through couchsurfing. We're so grateful !

Interests

Apart from trying to work very hard and earn money (ugh!) , i love to do Anything that is related to Nature . Trecking in forests, climbing mountains, seeing wonderful landscapes, adventure/fun parks etc..

Living on an island also gives me some great pleasure doing water sports!
i Love to go on boats, going snorkeling, speed boating, kayaking etc..

without forgetting the fact that i am super mega white-skinned and love to just lay on beaches trying to tan LOL.....

Other interests would include Music and dancing.. practically everyone in my family plays an instrument and took dancing classes at some point in life!
i also don't mind spending a good afternoon at the club or at a bar =]

Music, Movies, and Books

As the majority of people (i guess), i love pop music and go to concerts. i've went to concerts of dj's as Martin Garrix, Like mike and dimitri vegas. (would love to one day go to Coachella or Tomorrow Land, heehees ! )

I LOVE Reggae music.

My secret likings though are for country music and classical ones. i could spend hours listening to Chopin. But basically, i really love all kind of music!

I am a great fan of movies. Iam a die-heart fan of Lord of the Rings, Star wars and Happy Potter series! watches them all everyy yearr!! (Geek much? )

Read a lot of books like Dan Brown books, Jane Austen ( and the movies too are just fantastic!!!) , Cecilia Ahern books, or the whole House of Night series. (very girlish i know!! ) Currently reading the series of The Wheel of Time.

I can share my unbelievable mix of culture. Beholding such mix blood roots, i am in a position to narrate my experiences in Pagodas, Hindu Temples and Catholic churches. Having different rituals and different ways of praying, i simply don't mind, and actually love thaat!!
