About Me

CURRENT MISSION

get to know and become myself. (Inspired by Socrate)

ABOUT ME

"Always smiling", they say. I love laughing, travelling, dancing and reading. I was born in Sanremo (Liguria), but I study at University of Florence. Love my beautiful country, but I think I have no place in the world. I want to see, know and live everything, everywhere.

PHILOSOPHY

Live Free, Love Truly, Learn a lot.

I try my best to be respectful with Earth (and hearts). I think we should pay more attention on it. That's the way to get a helthier and happier world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

(may 2014) - I've been hosted by Simen, Martin and Aslaug in Oslo. it was the first time as a couchsurfer and I definitely decided to keep on being it!

(sep 2014) - I've hosted Sohyeon here, in Florence. Great experience because Sohyeon is a beautiful person. So I can't wait to host again!

Interests

I'm a MATH student. It's driving me crazy, but they say it's pretty normal :) I've studied ancient latin and greek at high school and I keep trying to learn anything I can about them and philosophy.
I read a lot and I think this "saves" me from the rest of the world sometimes.
I'm studying ballet class since I was 4.
I love people who have always something to talk about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic is the way.
I like to watch good movies ("mr. Nobody" is the last movie I watched and I think it's one of the best movie I've ever seen!), listen to good music and read a lot of books. I prefer philosophical essay, but I adore "The Lord of the Rings" (Tolkien was a genius!) and I thought a lot about my self reading "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" of Milan Kundera.
In different moments of my life, I've read "The Little Prince" and I have it always on my bedside table.
Well, I can't decide which book is my favourite, that's why I keep on reading!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen beautiful places, beautiful paintings, beautiful souls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to teach, learn and share happiness.
In the meanwhile, I can teach something that's quite close to happiness, such as:
- how to cook "lasagne", "tiramisu" and a lot of other italian food.
- what is a Demi-plié or a grand battement. I can be your ballet teacher for a few days!
- how to LOVE math and so understand it (no, it's not impossible!)
- Ancient Greek and Latin. once you read their beautiful literature, you fall in love with those culture(not dead!!!).I try to keep on reading it sometimes with my flatmate and we get lost talking about it for hours...

I would like to learn anything I don't know yet. I love people who teach something someone, so I can share their knowledge, then, with others.
