ABOUT ME

I find this section difficult, because through a computer you could never properly explain a human being accurately.
I'd like to think that I am unapologetically myself.. I say whats on my mind, I open up quite quickly to new people, and I try to make friends where ever I go..
I'm 21 years old and I just finished my undergraduate degree here in California. This last August, I returned from a year of Erasmus/study abroad in Madrid, Spain!
I am loud, a bit outgoing at times, sensitive, and I believe myself to be a people person more than anything.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess if I could sum up my "personal philosophy" its that I believe in love.. I believe in loving everyone and everything whole-heartedly. Love your friends. Love your family. Love your pet. Love your roommates. Love your newest friends, and especially your oldest. Love your city, your school, your happiest of memories but also your worst.. Because everything in life teaches you something and we are all on this Earth to grow from it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet up with as many travelers as possible! I am more than happy to provide rides to and from the airport, I can meet up for coffee or a drink, and I can help find accommodations here in Newport if staying at my place doesn't work out :) I just want to help travelers and show them kindness and hospitality!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Geneva, Amsterdam, London, Lisbon, and Rome.. All have been incredibly unique and positive experiences and contributed to my strong preference to Couch Surf over staying in a hostel… While hostel's can provide you with a "party environment" and tons of international people to befriend, I really have grown to love the CS experience of meeting and creating strong friendships with locals.

I would say that they are my #1 "hobby".. the music, the people, the environment that is created, is an experience that is priceless to me.. what else..
well, I really love to listen to people's stories. Sounds so generic coming from someone on this site, however its true! Stories from different people who have been all around the world are awesome. I love to share mine as well.. Ill tell you stories for hours until you tell me to shut up!

I enjoy being outside.. going to parks, seeing a beautiful part of a city and escaping all the people and traffic..

I really enjoy going out until the early hours of the morning.. to dance all night with friends, potentially meet new people, drink all night only to walk out of a club at sunrise.. such a crazy experience. I don't know how I'm going to NOT live in Spain anymore!

*I love to COOK! Ever since I was young I was always helping my mother in the kitchen.. Now that I have my own place I cook (and prefer to) cook every meal for myself.. That being said, I love to cook for my friends!! I guess you could say I'm motherly like that!

Muzyka, filmy i książki

MUSIC!: Bon Iver is my all-time favorite. I was in tears of happiness when I saw them live for the first time. I also love the XX, Mumford & Sons, Jack Johnson, Eric Clapton, Tracy Chapman, Fleet Foxes, City and Colour, Kill Paris. Those are just a few of my favorites but I feel that I can appreciate all styles of music..

A place called "Hierve del Agua" in Oaxaca, Mexico.. natural sulfur springs on the top of a mountain in the middle of southern Mexico. It was breathtaking..

MOROCCO. I spent a weekend visiting the little towns of Chefchaoen, Asilah, and Tangier.

Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain: This little town has my heart, forever. Ask me and I'll tell you why.
