PHILOSOPHY
Have faith, take life one day at a time. Don't wait for the other shoe to drop. Find a solution before it drops! Enjoy every day and invite others to travel along your path. People and love are the answer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None - but I was a full time Rver for 5 years with my husband, volunteering for the forest service all over the United States.
Interests
My husband and I founded Serenity Acres, a non profit Horse Rescue in Silver City NM. We have placed over 600 horses in adoptive homes all over the US, Mexico and Canada. He passed away November 2011 and I have developed programs for at risk youth in our community, giving our rescued horses a job. In the near future we will be conducting Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning at our ranch. I also have a baking business at our local farmer's market.

Music, Movies, and Books
Water for Elephants - I have had 3 copies and keep lending them out - they don't come back. Ultimate Beatles fan - they were able to evolve with the times. Love classic rock, blues, country, jazz, but no rap. I live 2 minutes from a movie theater and have gone there twice in 8 years....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our newborn baby colt.
The back side of Mt. St. Helens Washington that was blown away by a volcanic eruption. The charred trees looked like soldiers standing guard all over the mountain.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking - home made pies, jams, pickles.
Horses - they are much more than a ride. They are a mirror of our emotions. They can heal you and teach you.
