Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living a life worth reliving.
ABOUT ME
Running a small consulting business in Toronto; exploring Toronto and the surrounding area for interesting places, events, and people. Constantly fighting the urge to spend too much time on Reddit. Eventually planning to do a lot of travelling.
Enjoying what I've got and always reaching higher.
PHILOSOPHY
Eudaimonic Hedonist. Socialite. Technocrat. Dependable.
"Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others."
- Groucho Marx
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted. It's amazing, I love helping people find good places around the city and getting to know a little about the world through the people spending time on my couch.
(Currently can't host since my new downtown condo is a little tight in terms of privacy, wouldn't want to put you through that)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosting has been an amazing experience. I love hosting, whether it be parties, events or couchsurfers - I just naturally feel happy hosting and making people feel comfortable.
Travelling has been an even better experience where one really does get to know the location so much better through a local's eyes.
Interests
Learning ALL the things!
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Never actually a read book twice, but if I had to it would be Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or Enders Game. Or maybe Gladwell's Tipping Point, because damn does that man just whip facts at you. Maybe Diskworld once I [eventually] finish the entire series.
Movies: In contrast, I once watched The Lion King 5 times on repeat on a challenge with some friends. Who won? Probably the local optometrist.
For shows I'd say the best ones are the ones that keep you on your toes: Game Of Thrones, Community, Archer, Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire... You get the idea.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the one most exhilarating thing I've ever done was skydiving. Nothing quite beats jumping out of an airplane knowing that the only thing between you and the ground is several thousand meters and a patch of fabric you've seen and helped fold half an hour ago.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ever wanted to learn how to play 3-man Chess? Drink Vodka like Russians (like water)? A bit of woodworking?
If your tastes are more theoretical I've got an array of knowledge about entrepreneurship/small business, psychology (how to be happy), or computer gaming?
