ABOUT ME

Hm...well... I am very open minded and like to meet new people, but I think that fits nearly everybody here ;) - so that does not count so much.

Before setting off for a year to Norway I used to play in a theater group and played guitar in several bands. Though now there's not much time for that anymore - since I put too much time into university.
Therefore I focus on climbing and photography a lot more.
Fortunately I traveled another 4 months through south-east-asia before I started my studies :)

PHILOSOPHY

I think it would take too much space and time to write my philosphy of life now..
But all in all I'm open minded and tolerant, try my best to accept people as they are.

Music, Movies, and Books

Really like "Antichrist" and "Idioten" from Lars von Trier, and the other DOGME 95 movies.

I also adore Gaspar Noe, who comes from France, he made "Irreversible" and "Menschenfeind" ...great movies, which show the dark sides of humanity and very ineresting storys and a special way of sceno- & cinematography.

Music is again very difficult, because I am listening to a lot of music (Though most people claim this)

Joy Division.THE CURE.SPACEMEN 3.SISTERS OF MERCY.Fever Ray.Austra.Trentemoller.Alireza Ghorbani.Feist.Beatsteaks.Low.Bolt Thrower.Format B...it varies from Techno to ancient persian music,scandinavian metal, rock, hebrew Klezmer...

And what I also like is electronix music, like techno or specially minimal. Great...also Drum´n´Base ;)

Books...hmm...Bukowski.
Charles Bukowski is one of the greatest writers for me. Also Henry Miller and Karen Duve.
But I also like it to read books about other countries and the space, for example books from Stephen Hawkings.
BUT I also like THE LORD OF THE RINGS from Tolkien and

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skitour to Nyken (near Sogndal,Noreg)
Giving a concert in the "K17" in Berlin
Building Snow shoes out of bamboo (in Norway :)
Wrapped in a woolen blanket, drinking hot chocolate and watching the first time how the sun kisses the sea.
Climbing some multipitch in Ton Sai and while it's getting dark huge bats are flying out of their caves.
Kayaking 2 weeks in the Fjords.
Climbing through an ice cave inside a giant glacier on Svalbard.

Teach, Learn, Share

can share my knowledge about photography, climbing, cutting glass (bottles), constructing a roof out of bamboo and beetle nut ;)
Allways up for learning about the same I mentioned but as well many more..Never really did a curry soup, that I'd like to learn I guess.
