Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I haven't hosted yet, probably in the future when I get my own place. I travel a lot sometimes need a place to stay. No mission just business )) BUT I am very keen to meet new people from around the world. And I believe that the best way to get to know new place is to talk with locals.

Interests

My work is my hobby, so history is at the first place. Next - learning languages. Apart from my native Russian I am fluent in English, learning German, used to learn Persian. I understand most of the Slavic languages to the extent. Oh, at University I also had a course in Latin. Per aspera ad astra!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's a challenge to fill this in. There are so many! When I was younger I used to read a lot of fantasy books, like the Lord of the Rings. Now I read literature seldom, academic reading takes so much time! I still like stupid old action movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger or Bruce Willis. But good dramas and comedies are also adorable. Out of more or less recent I prefer TV series like BBC Sherlock or the Big Bang Theory.

My music preferences may vary. It largely depends on the mood. Let's say that the good old Rock-n-Roll gets the upper hand. But Jazz and dance Pop look sometimes worth listening.
