ABOUT ME

about me:

1) i just finished grad school in machine learning (kinda like applied math), and trying to figure out what to do next.

2) a few years ago, i took a year off to wander around asia, the middle east, and eastern europe. i ate the world, and it chewed on me a little. a travel addiction resulted.

3) i'm a 95% vegetarian who eats fish.

4) i love music, especially good live music, especially creative jazz & good dance music.

5) i read lots of novels, and the new york review of books.

6) i love movies! old & new, foreign & domestic, weird & ordinary.

7) i play congas sometimes.

8) i've been meditating regularly and thinking about meditation for 4 years. i love to teach meditation!

PHILOSOPHY

reality is a great place to be, even if it hurts sometimes. other people make life not only tolerable, but wonderful. let's hang out.
