About Me

Hi there,

I'm italian but I've been living in London since 2009.
I guess all you need to know about me is listed underneath; I tried to keep it short, simple and not too boring.
Fundamentally I'm a really laid back person who gets along with most kind of people.
I believe that generally people with the same musical, literature and film interests get along brilliantly or at least have brilliant conversations, therefore I've listed quite a few of them in one of the sections below to explain my tastes as much as it's possible on an online profile, but that doesn't mean I'm not open to meet people who think differently!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because when I visit a place I like not only to visit it exclusively through the usual tourists routes and famous places but also to meet local people who have either grown up in the area or have been living there for a while.
I'd like to meet and talk to people about what's it like to be living there and who could eventually also give me suggestions on, or show me, interesting spots, local music events and other activies that only someone living in that city would be aware of.
I'm very keen to meet nice and laid back people from all over the world, and always happy to have a chat, a drink, or to go for a walk or attend some gigs!

Interests

Writing short fiction stories, searching for new music, reading, using polaroids and expanding my knowledge through articles, non-fiction books, researching the past and talking to people.
I love going to gigs and prefer going into little venues and seeing little known bands in cool tiny venues full of character!
In the last few years I've also developed an interested in cooking and I've sort of mastered a few classic italian dishes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know whether is an amazing thing but when I was 19 I travelled to Ethiopia for a couple of months and did some volunteering with local orphans.
I then moved to London a few months later with just a little trolley bag with me, no computer, no books but just a few basic things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have very many practicalities to teach, maybe a couple of card tricks, a few italian dishes, but I can definetely suggest anyone tons of new music based on their tastes!
I'd like to learn french, although my father is french himself I never had the chance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some very long conversations. My own life experiences and the incredible stories that the people I've met throughout my existence have told me.
