Overview
About Me
I was born in the south of Italy at the seaside but then my family moved to a region in the north in the Alps where people speak both German and Italian. So when I was 12 years old I had to learn German and I grew up with this strange mix of cultures: I am very extrovert and passionate like many people in the south but I learned to become more precise and accountable like the typical German person.
When I was at elementary school I found my "vocation" and decided I wanted to help fight climate change and environmental destruction.
I moved in 2018 to Bologna to create my startup in sustainable transportation sector.
In my free time I like writing, mostly books. I enjoy dancing a lot. I used to dance Lindy Hop but now I discovered Folk Dance and find it even more fun.
I consider myself a people person and in fact I socialize a lot and therefore enjoy Couchsurfing too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now that I have a free room, I want to pay it forward to those many friends who hosted me around the world by helping young people to travel cheaper. I would like to meet people with whom I can practice speaking foreign languages and learn from them to cook better by learning one new dish from each person.
Interests
Sport (open water swimming, cross-country ski, yoga, basket)
Dancing (Folk, Swing: Lindy Hop and Charleston)
Music (I played alto saxophone)
Environment and Energy
Personal Growth (I used to teach a course on this at my university and I think everyone should learn more about topics like time management, how to learn languages faster, public speaking, personal finance etc.)
Movies (I watch a lot of them). Do you know someone that could be interested in reading the script that I wrote?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am not sure it is amazing for everyone, but once I had the opportunity to learn to use the boomerang and I trained for two hours when others gave up and finally I managed to throw it right and get it back consistently. I never had the same opportunity again. It was so much fun.
More recently I walked for 50 km, mostly uphills, from Bologna city to the mountains nearby, alone, starting at 7 pm to avoid the heat. I stopped for a pause between 2 and 5 am because I was followed by wolves (I am not joking). One wolf was in the bush at some 10 meters from me. I could not see it beacuse it was pitch black but I could here it. A striking experience. It was my #walkchallenge to protest against government not doing much about climate change.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I mentioned, I used to teach personal growth so I can share what I learned through the years.
I can also teach you some dancing
I am always happy to learn other languages and cultures and listen to the stories of other people and how to cook new dishes.
