Overview
About Me
I'm Sergio (name) or Llargo (nickname) you can chose as call me.
About me, you have to know that I'm a student of archaeology, but not only that, also a musician (trumpet), social volunteer, basketball player, swimmer, theatre "actor" and more (well not much more haha).
I love reading, especially philosophical essays and listening every type of music (the betters for me are ska, "rumba", rap and punk) and make whatever activity different (for my "near-circle") to try to know, always, the others perspectives to see the life.
I speak Spanish and Catalan as matern language and I speak English and know about Italian, Greek and Romanian.
About my personality I'm very very calm (nobody can annoy me, try it! haha) and daring/open-mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am in Greece (concretely in Thiva), right now (and for 11 months), working as a volunteer in a social project (EVS program). Here I work in an infirmary, developing activities with a group of elderly people with chronic (physical and mental) diseases.
We have 22 days of "work-off" and I would like to use them to travel around this part of Europe, the East.
For that work we don't receive too much money (so my travel's budget is not bigger) but that, the money, is not the main reason to be here.
I think, the best way to travel is when you are able to be "inside" the own country (culture, language...) that you visit and that only can provide it to you, being with a person for the own country.
Is for that, I cannot receive people in my house, because it is not mine (it is of the project) but in the future I hope to participate here like a host.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, about these things...the list would be too much longer so I have to choose and I don't like to do it! It is not fair because I would write it all but...
My favourite group is "La Gossa Sorda", a Valencian group who plays "Ska-Folclorik Rock".
About films, I usually like the drama genre or at least a film where you can see the people in difficult situations, and how they act (sometimes the apocalyptic films like "The Road" or "Children of Men" provide you that) so if I have to choose, my favourites are "City of God" and "Wild Horses" (that last one, the Argentinian movie).
Books... I have said before (in "about me") that I love to read philosophical essays but I have read also about psychology. The authors most read by me have been Fromm, Hesse, Byung-Chul and Huxley. The last one has written my favourite book, "Island".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What a relative and general question, but...
I cannot talk or choose one concrete situation (maybe when I was living for 10 months with a 92 years old man with Alzheimer or the social projects where I have worked), I can say that I have been listening/reading a lot of histories about people (relatives and unknown), histories about their lives and I have always tried to give them an optimist sight and a calm way to act.
Obviously, I am so young and my vital context has not given me many "real difficulties" but I have already accepted a simple but difficult (at least for the modern society and in the way that this society is sold to us) thing, and that is the continuous change. The fact of the flux.
So, that is a good idea (I have only read it in Oriental documents, unfortunately, not here in Europe) really useful for the usual problems. I want to believe that my help have been able to improve the lives of the person who were confident with me, talked with me and heard me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have already said that I am a really open-minded person so I am not going to judge anyone or any act.
I want to learn, and the best way is knowing the lives of the other humans so I am delighted if I have, in front of me, a person who likes to be asked and who also likes to ask. You don't know how much detailed can be my questions haha, the archeologist loved the accurate contexts!
That is all and that is the way, talk, listen and respect the other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It depends, I think if you have read my profile can have a small idea about me and that is enough, for the moment and before know the each other, to live the different experience that each situation will provide to us.
