I always get stuck on a question like this. As much as I say about myself, your impression of me should come from the actions I take and not the words I say. Until we meet, here's who I am. I am a 19 yr old Canadian who is extremely passionate about my Italian background. I grew up Catholic and am still struggling about what my faith. What I do unquestionably believe in is the good in people. No matter how evil some acts are on this beautiful world, there exists good in everyone. I love to try new things and will not be have my mind wander on anything else until I achieve a certain understanding and skill on whatever I'm learning. Although I used to be allergic to most animals, that would never stop me from playing with them. Another trait about me is that I look really young! I still to this day have to carry around my passport for ID as most bouncers don't believe anything else. I also am a huge believer in the importance of family and want at least 6 children of my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the greatest gifts is the ability to communicate. I love to meet new people and dwell over experiences, travel, and future goals. I also love to immerse myself in new cultures and get a real local experience instead of being on a tour bus taking pictures or at a hotel enjoying unnecessary luxuries.

Interests

Skiing and snowboarding is a huge passion of mine. I grew up downhill racing and now snowboard more frequently. I also love basketball, soccer, karate, golf, fastball, hockey, speed-skating, and always look forward to trying new sports. I am in to dancing, especially two-step, jiving, and salsa. Travel takes up a huge part of my interests and meeting new people even more so. Another passion of mine is cooking. Italian cuisine is by far my favourite yet I will always love a good cheeseburger.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all genres of music. A few of my favourite artists however are Neil Young, Bob Marley, the Beatles, Black Violin, Eminem, and High Kings.
I mostly enjoy action movies but I also enjoy watching movies such as Despicable Me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is to have flown a plane over the Capital of Canada. We were allowed to fly as close as 250m over the Parliament of Canada and when you're that close in a plane, it seems like your a few feet away.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the most essential thing we can teach, learn, and share is that we all have the ability to learn anything. It's a matter of putting our heads and heart to a task. When someone tells you that your are unable to do whatever you had your mind set on, don't let their pessimistic views dampen your heart because at the end of the day, you will be the one flying and they will be digging.
