Hi! I´m Sergio. I´m a 29 years old chilean who has traveled through europe for some time. Although I was an accountant in Chile for some time, I left everything to pursue my dreams of traveling and experience new adventures, thanks to that I lived in Ireland for a year and worked as a barista (a skill I learned here) in Dublin and Cork. I also have traveled across France, Germany and Belgium, and now I want to keep visiting this beautiful continent before returning to my country (momentarily).
I´m very friendly and ease going, I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. And I also love to hear other´s life stories, and learn as much I can from them, that I consider is one of the greatest gifts of traveling.

Currently I'm learning some Italian and French, but I'm fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker. Even though we may not speak the same language, I think there is always ways to understand each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have traveled for some countries staying in hostels, but for me it's too impersonal and, as important as it is to see new places and live new experiences, it is to meet people who have a different life and new things to share. I love people and places, and couchsurfing provides the opportunity to enjoy both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left a comfortable but empty life in Chile to travel across the world with nothing and no one to help me, and now live a happy life in Cork, Ireland as a barista, with a lot of important people in my life :)

I also bungee jumped once :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Spanish, English, movie history and apreciation, music, art, and some finances jajaja. But most of all I want to listen and share stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some chilean dishes for you, show you awesome movies and music, also I have worked as a barista so I can make great coffee and hot chocolates. I also have worked as a volunteer in country side Ireland, so I know the basics of construction if you need help with a project. But most important is that im very willing and excited to help you and have a fun :)
