About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live in caution, never in fear!

ABOUT ME

I am a self-reflecting, passionate dreamer. I can vividly recall the second grade me having wanderlust and wanting to explore the world at such a young age. 15+ years and the wanderlust remained stronger than ever even if the confidence to give in was not always present. As the years have progressed though, I am finally becoming more confident with myself. Comfort brings complacency therefore I want to start stepping out of my comfort zone, bursting the bubble in which I had previously enveloped myself. I want to finally enrich my life by learning about the world around me and its inhabitants first hand instead of through other means. From day trips to the nightlife, tourist traps to local hideaways, every new journey and/or person are opportunities to expand the mind. I want to meet new people (yes, YOU!!) and go to new places (even in my own city!) so say Hi (or any other welcoming equivalent)!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, the world is vast... go NOW!

Interests

Peace, love, health, success, and happiness! We are all life-long learners. I want to learn deeply about and understand the differences that make us all unique individuals yet integrate us all in a united community. We learn the most about the world and about ourselves from the people that are most different from us. Every viewpoint should be welcomed. Every opinion should be respected. Every belief should be celebrated as a new, personal understanding of humanity.

I also highly enjoy Art (especially Contemporary Art and Conceptual Art), Art Photography (Post Post Modern and Avant-garde), Commercial Photography (Couture and High Fashion), Science (esp. Biology concentration), Medicine, Philosophy, Languages, etc. etc.

Also dancing and singing (or attempting to), partying, drinking, etc. etc.

... In other words, a little bit of everything! Books and Booze and everything in between :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am very fortunate enough to say that I was able to see a space shuttle launch in person once in my life! In the summer of 2007, I went to Florida with some high school friends and by chance the space shuttle Endeavour was launching from the Kennedy Space Center during my stay. Watching the launch was one of the most marvelous, breath-taking events I have ever experienced and gave me a glimpse of the power and possibilities of which mankind is capable! At the time of my viewing the launch, I had no idea that the NASA space shuttle program would seize to exist in less than 4 years. Needless to say, I was extremely saddened by this decision but am grateful to have had the opportunity to personally view at least once something as rare as man's mission to explore the world outside of our own! Hopefully one day NASA will once again receive government funding to allow more people to view amazing feats such as these!
