My name is Sergio Robledo. I am from Ushuaia, in the province of Tierra del Fuego, in Argentina.

I was born in 1990, and I lived in Ushuaia until I was 19. I finished my high school studies there, and soon after that I started teaching English. It was then when I realized that teaching was the career I wanted for my life.

I got a lot of support from my family, and they helped me to move in Mendoza to study to become a qualified English Teacher. I studied in Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.

During college, I made lots of friend, and met my best friend and girlfriend, Soledad.

Soledad and I finished our studies in 2014. Since them, we've been planning our first trip abroad.

Right now, we are living in Copenhagen and planning the next trip around the old continent!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, but I find it more enriching when I do so in contact with local people. There are lots of things that are out of your sight when you get in touch with a new culture, things that give each country its identity. Only local people can open that window to your eyes, and that makes every spot on Earth a unique place.

Interests

My interests are quite varied because I like learning new things. I love playing the guitar, playing soccer and reading books, but I am always trying to find new ways to enjoy my life.
