About Me

CURRENT MISSION

whatever it is....it's impossible

ABOUT ME

I'm Argentine, so my culture is a little different, but I've been in the U.S. for seven years, so I've been Americanized a little bit. But I'm still against wastefulness and fast food, so it's not too bad lol. I'm against capitalism, I think it's unfair for people who start out without money and it's mostly unfair to our earth. Since profit comes first, Corporations and some businesses put all sorts of fucked up chemicals in our food, our water, and the atmosphere. To simplify it, I'd say I'm a libertarian socialist who believes that people should make their own decisions and not a few people making decisions for millions, that makes no sense.
I'm quite the TreeHugger...even though that's sort of a bad title, since we should all care about the place we live in. My passion has always been gardening. I should know a lot more than I know at this moment. But I'm currently learning a lot more about how to be more self-sufficient. I live with three vegans and thanks to them I've now become vegan myself. The only thing that irritates me about being vegan is the stupid people who think I'm lacking protein!!! haha...I mean..really? But that's ok, it's actually sort of funny sometimes. The place I'm living in has an acre for a back yard with some fruit trees and a chicken coop. It's nice, except we don't have chickens yet...and may never get any. Though the back yard is pretty big, we're only using 200 sq.ft. for gardening...we just don't want to overwhelm ourselves(though next year we're tripling our gardening area) We also have a gray water system in our bathroom and we're going to hook up an alternator to an old stationary bike to make some of our electricity. We don't have much money so it's sort of a slow process. I speak fluent spanish as well as fluent english and I'm now working on learning Italian. It's always been a dream of mine to go to Italy. umn...let's see...I'm finally starting college in the fall. I'll be going into architecture and specializing in environmentalism...I skateboard, play guitar, run, workout, hike, garden, read, play sudoku, play halo(though I still suck since I don't play often enough.) I love to dance and I'm gonna be starting a hip hop/ break dancing course soon. can't wait!...and I think that's about it.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, Love and Learn...

There's more to life than just getting as much for yourself as possible.
Live and let live
Love and let love
Learn and...Teach!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

People from all over the world stay at my house and I've gone to Oregon. That's about it for now. This summer I'll be taking another trip to...I don't know yet.
I'm verified and only been vouched for once...but I guess that just means I have to travel more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed anywhere (yet). But people from Germany, France, Singapore, and all over the U.S. have stayed at our house. Meeting all these people has been great and very interesting. I specially love meeting people from other countries and learn of their outlook on life. "Talking Politics" is a great interest of mine and it's been great to do that with couch surfers.

Interests

Music, Gardening, and wild Adventures would have to be the top three. Well, actually Self-sustainability is my main focus. I would love to be completely off the grid and grow my own food. Only recently did I start getting serious about it, but it's always better late than never. I'll be starting environmental architecture degree in the fall, can't wait.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy funny, suspenseful, and action movies. Though sometimes i become too critical of the things that are in the movies. Once you become aware of the things that are being sold to you every second of the day, You don't enjoy movies as much...so I try to put my thinking aside sometimes.

Books....I only started reading books about a year ago and I'm loving it. Fiction doesn't really tickle my fancy, but NON-fiction sure does.

Music:...well.. I don't know. I guess I just listen to everything...mostly everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ordered two extra recycling bins...haha...now we have three! :) We need it cuz we recycle a lot of the coffee shop's garbage.

They don't recycle :(

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach. Learn. Share...

Wow...I've gotta say...CouchSurfing is amazing. But I'm tired...I'll do this later
