Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna enjoy my travels and I do love meeting with new people in foreign countries. Let's have fun.

First of all, l would like to explain a little bit about myself. l was born in Tekirdağ, Çorlu, which is a town of Turkey; on 19th of August. l completed 8-year Primary School education and high school for 4 years in my town. When I was studying in high school, I had assumed some responsibilities. I was a co-founder president at Social Entrepreneurship and Career Development Community. My friends and I have realized several projects inside this organization.

Besides, we created a team studying for Comenius Projects The National Agency in my high school. Meanwhile, I volunteered as a teacher in a project which scope was helped as much as possible to two young friends who could not go attended their lessons heir due to funding shortfalls. I became sort of a training coach. I helped them their courses and their social life.I also took in charge in high school student council for four years.

After these, I started studying Mining Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. Right now, I am planning to change my department to economics. Simultaneously, I will study sociology in the second university in Turkey. I have some working experience. I have been working in Dreamstalk since June 2016 as an intern. My tasks are constituting monthly newsletter and helping management of World Dream Forum. In my university, I am a president of one of the university student clubs called Istanbul Technical University Dreams Club. Our job is to call back dreams. The reason is that a child in kindergarten with a %98 capacity to dream is left with only %2 by the time she gets to college and Why let your dream be shoved and pushed when it’s dreamers that write history?

I have been always curious and enthusiastic about exploring new countries, languages, and cultures because I really want to be an inspiration to people with the job I do. I applied this project because ı want to live foreign country. I want to experience this because I really want to be an international person. I have got numerous dreams so my friends say “ You are a dreamer “ to me because I think “The only thing that can save us is our dreams .”I want to build one energy company which work in renewable energy sector. I do want to change and save the world so I have to try everything for this and I know this project benefits for me. I think I must work with you on the project I must experience this. Finally, my great purpose is being ministered of education in Turkey and bringing to Education a level better and more useful. DREAM SO YOU CAN BE. Therefore, I volunteered for Aiesec in Brazil as an English teacher and a dream coach.I have noticed and recognized something in myself. Volunteering for me is to have an impact on and to be inspired. I do not help people, I want to solve problems root and branch.
