Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Serhii, I'm 20 years old, currently living in Germany and studying German (A2 level). My dream is to become a professional football player or coach. I love traveling and plan to explore all of Germany, and then the whole world! My older brother Taras accompanies me on my travels.
Taras is 23 years old, and he is also studying German and plans to work in the cryptocurrency field. He's into sports, plays volleyball and tennis, and has recently started practicing Chinese disciplines like Qigong and Tai Chi.
We are polite and calm guys with no bad habits, though we do have a sweet tooth at times. We enjoy meeting new people, discovering new places, and improving our German language skills.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We’re on Couchsurfing because we believe that truly experiencing a country starts with its people. We’re not just looking for a place to stay, but an opportunity to immerse ourselves in local life, meet interesting people, and learn more about the culture and traditions from within. Couchsurfing allows us to travel not as tourists, but as friends visiting from afar. It’s important for us to connect with friendly people who can share a bit of their life with us and help us better understand Germany and other countries we plan to visit.
We don’t speak German very well, as our level is A2. Communicating with locals is a great way for us to improve our language skills. We’re excited to make new friendships, learn more about the world around us, and find a warm and cozy place to stay during our travels.

Music, Movies, and Books
We enjoy various genres of music, movies, and books. I’m into pop music, and one of my favorite artists is Justin Bieber. In terms of books, I’m interested in self-development literature, with my favorite being "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. I also enjoy movies that focus on personal growth, and one of my favorites is "Pele."
My brother is a music enthusiast and enjoys almost all genres. When it comes to books, he prefers fantasy, including manga and audiobooks in the fantasy genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There’s nothing particularly extraordinary, but one notable thing I've done is moving to Germany spontaneously. Another significant achievement is that I’ve started eating healthily.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don’t have a lot of experience, but I can share insights about nutrition, as I am actively studying it. I also have significant experience in football and can discuss many details about the sport. My brother can share his experience with reading manga and watching anime. Additionally, we would be happy to play volleyball, tennis, or, of course, football together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share various stories with you. As mentioned, we can talk about nutrition, life in Ukraine, and our personal experiences. If you have board games, we’d be happy to play them. We can also play different sports, such as volleyball, football, or tennis, if the opportunity arises.Of course, if you are busy, we won’t disturb you and will be as quiet as ninjas.
