About Me

CURRENT MISSION

How far we travel in life matters far less than those we meet along the way.

ABOUT ME

"If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way." Im a product of the American West (recently gone Vegetarian!) Raised cattle, had a horse since I was little, and grew up in Arizona and Colorado. I think we all have a story to tell. My goal is to hear as many of these stories as possible. Each person makes their own small difference along the way. I love people, from anywhere and from everywhere.

If reading is something you fancy, I tend to have a lot to say : http://serindipitie.wordpress.com

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. ~Twain

The creative person is both more primitive and more cultivated, more destructive, a lot madder and a lot saner, than the average person.

There is a vast difference between a 'tourist' and a 'traveler.' The 'tourist' goes to visit a faraway place, stays for a few days or weeks, and then returns home. But the 'traveler' is at home wherever he may be visiting."

The world is an open book... He who stays in the same place, reads but one page... -St. Augustine

You must be the change you wish to see in the world -Ghandi

"Those who wander are not always lost" ~Tolkien

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to dabble in as many modes of transportation possible. Got a boat? Im on board, flying adventures? Lets go. Horses? Even better. Motorycles, Hitch-hiking? Paragliding, Im down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing makes meeting awesome people easier. It simply gives open-minded and welcoming people the option to open up their homes and hearts to fellow travelers of the world, in an easier way.

Interests

When back home in Colorado on the ranch, Im on the back of a horse, reading a book, writing short stories, in a coffee shop, talking to random people or attempting to learn new languages.

At home in Arizona im hiking, hugging Cactus, in the Sand Dunes, the middle of the desert exploring shut down, abandoned mines, picking up pieces of the old west, off-roading in the desert washes and hills, exploring bombing ranges .... or enjoying a red wine on the patio with good company and telling tales of faraway places and journeys.

Life is great.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach patience, I can open your eyes, we can dance, I can help you see the world in a new light, I can share experiences and ideas from amazing people from all over the world.
