Overview
About Me
Bonjour ! I'm Jean-Baptiste (call me JB) a near-30 Parisian.
Worked in online banking since the moment I got bored and chose to do what I wanted the most : travelling with my girlfriend and, most of all, finding a project related to travel. First step : welcoming travellers in Paris, to meet people and be useful to them.
Now, I have a project with a friend to create something to help travellers like you to meet Parisians and experience a bit og the local life : Welcom' to Paris (simple, isn't it ?)
https://www.welcom.city or https://www.facebook.com/welcomcity/
(If you have 5mn to check it, I would be glad to hear your opinion !)
I like GoT, Big History, running (100+km / month), creating stuff and meeting people. See you soon !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
EDIT : I hosted a couple of surfers at the end of 2017 and earned 3 months of "verified membership". And for one months I got 1 or 2 requests a day. I'm sorry but it's too much to answer, so I change my status ; but if you want to meet or be hosted, feel free to send a message ! Just put "Rhinoceros" in the first sentence, so I'll know you read my profile ;)
Because I'm in a time of my life when I say : "I've got to travel a lot more, my horizon is too tight !".
I'm a sharing person, former host at AirBnB (but now, they lost their original spirit), giving free courses of history, French and running, moving by BlaBlaCar, etc. I love the sharing spirit and it's a pleasure to meet people.
I want to get to know more that movement, and be useful to the community, whether it be by answering questions, by participating to CS events (but the real spontaneous ones, not the sponsored BS ones), hosting people, or even making them discovering Paris a couple hours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Was working and online studying in France when I was 22 ; suddenly got bored of the daily tourine ; decided a Wednesday to fly to Ireland (an old dream) ;on Sunday, I was on a flight with a one-way ticket to Dublin. Stayed 10 weeks exploring and meeting people, one of the greatest decisions I've ever made.
