Hey i'm Serkan from Turkey. I'm a social and fun guy. I guess my ultimate skill is "learning" and my ultimate goal is "experiencing" as much as possible. I like to meet new people and i believe every person is a new path in life road. when you look at your past from now, you can easily see how people directly or indirectly changed your life. I find this magical. Oh, by the way i believe in magic, too :) some call it miracles. They happen on occation.

Anyways, finally i'm breaking my chains and like Mark Twain says; "Sailing away from the safe harbor to catch the trade winds in my sails."
This will be a very long journey. Years. And i will be visiting a lot of countries. In this journey full of wonders i'm hoping to find my true self and breaking my boundries.

Music: mostly based on Funk. But i love many genres that i can't even count here but let me try without going any deeper... Breakbeat, IDM, Drum'N'Bass, Jungle, House, Trip Hop, Hip-hop... (I'm bringing my archive to share)

Books: many but there a few very important for me. Jittenburg parfume from Tom Robbins. Irvin Yalom, Paulo Coelho..

Movies and shows: Big Bang Theory, Legion, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Dexter, Breaking Bad etc.
Movies i can't list all here but to give an idea i love movies who makes me think. The script, the fiction is more important for me than the visuals. In other words i don't fall for shitty movies with great visuals. Lately i've come to a point that i solved the formula of Hollywood and it doesn't attract me anymore. I slowly started to dig european movies and Bollywood. I love Aamir Khan movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once i saw a hedgehog trying to cross the main road. So i immediately jump on the road, stopped the cars and take the kirpi in my hands and put it on the sidewalk. Luckily the drivers thanked me. It could have turn into a fight in my envoirement about me stopping them. That's how soulless people exists.

At my twenties i wasn't able to say no to any sort of adventure or experience. We were sitting at the bar with my cousins and a few more people that i don't know. I was daydreaming looking out the window and wasn't even listenin the conversation. Suddenly one of the guys i don't know point his finger at me and called me 'junkie'. I had dreads at the time. First, couldn't figure out what's going on. It took me a few minutes to understand that he was a theatre director and wants me to play the role 'junkie'. I said ok with no hesitation. Couple of days later i went for my first day there. I knew no one. They showed me the script and.. There's no script for junkie at all! I said wtf! This is boring, isn't there any other role for me? They said no. I said come on it has to be.. and we did this dancing a couple of times. Finally they confessed there is one but not suitable for me. I asked who is it? with excitement. They answered 'he's a gay' you can't do it. I said i can and we danced on this a couple of times. Finally i said ok, wait a sec. I collect all the colorful hair ribbons from girls' desks and went to the loo. I made a very funny hair style and get out from there as a gay. My walking, my talking, everything. It was so funny that everyone laughed their asses off and the director said 'you got the role!' and i turned to the people that i don't know and said: this is how you got a role! Haha
Well the story doesn't finishes here but it's a very long story and this is the beginning of almost everything in my life. And now i'm intended to recover that side of me for new adventures.
