About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the world, love the world, bringing peace vibe to the world, meet different cultures.

ABOUT ME

I could never succeed explaining myself. It sounds like an interview question for me and I never wanted to be in the interviews. Life should be much more different and funnier than interviews. So do I. My references or photos can explain me a bit. Below is my life schedule

-Born in Adana (south of Turkey) and lived there until my university days. then
-2001-2011 : istanbul (studied bachelor and master degree. started working. some part is in Austria, Germany, New Hampshire/US)
-2012 : Dallas/ Texas (where I became very active in Couchsurfing events )
-2013-... : Seattle/Washington ( I hosted lots of travellers, joined events, had great CS friends, organized several pub crawls, Seattle CouchCrash 2016)

I am not an active couchsurfer last 3 years. But I still check all the messages I receive.

PHILOSOPHY

No culture can live, if it attempts to be exclusive

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host anybody from the world. I can go anyone's home in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- I am both surfing and hosting in last 10 years and i met great people from couchsurfing

- hosted several people from Europe while I was living in istanbul, surfed in europe.

- I participated CS Dallas meetings almost every week for a year and I have lots of great friends from Couchsurfing Dallas Community while I was living in Dallas

- Between september 2012 to 2016,in Seattle I hosted lots of people from many countries of the world. I was the most active couch hoster in Seattle. I attended lots of CS Seattle meetings.

I am not a very active couchsurfer since 2017 but I still check all the messages and get involved if I am not busy.

-Going to a favela party in Rio De Janeiro being the only one not speaking Portuguese. People partying in a huge poverty regardless.

-Going inside the coffin for Japanese death Festival in Tokyo. It changed my sense of death
other than that;
- Polar Bear Plunge in a cold Pacific sea in first day of the year , snorkeling with sea lions in the middle of the ocean, running between Asia and Europe

Teach, Learn, Share

I always feel happy, you know why? Because I dont expect anything from anyone. Expectations always hurt. Life is short, so love your life, be happy and keep smiling.
