Hello!

My name is Seth from Washington, DC! I have been travelling for over 11 months and about to end my year abroad!

In the past year, I have been to seven countries, trekked nearly 1000 kilometers, climbed in Australia, Nepal and Europe, and had many adventures that have taught me a lot. I love do dive, run, hike, cook and meet with new people to discuss new ideas and share stories about travel and life.

I have come to love Australia for its open-heartedness, kind people and good sense of humor (not to mention the beautiful summer weather). I am kind, adventurous, creative, respectful and easy to get along with!

I believe that everyone can learn from each other and that travel is one of the most powerful ways in which we can break down barriers. In Nepal and Slovenia, I was invited into people's homes, people I didn't know, and I was able to experience what a different way of life was.

As a backpacker, it is nice to get a real snapshot of what it is like to live in a country. How homes look, how people live their day-to-day and make new friends from all over the world.

I have been shown great kindness from strangers and when I get back to my home and when I have my own space, I plan on paying it forward and sharing the stories and the kindness that has been shared with me.

Some of my favorite movies are all the Marvel movies, especially the Avenger's series. I also love documentaries about design, nature, and science.

My favorite book is Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Series.

I listen to a wide variety of music. Jazz, Indie, Classical, Rock, and anything really!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This year I climbed my first 6,000 meter peak in the Everest region of Nepal. It was one of the most spectacular things that I have ever done and I am so grateful that I safely summit ed the mountain.
