I'm just now making my own profile, but in Philadelphia my gf and I hosted people from Korea, Austria, Holland, Australia, Colorado, and probably other places I am now forgetting (also through warmshowers.org).

I recently read a great historical biography of Alexander of Macedon (aka- "Alexander the Great"), by Peter Green. Hilarious and brilliant!
Recently saw Cocteau's "Orphee", which ruled.
I was sad, but intrigued, when Wu Lyf recently broke up. Love their song "Dirt".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Newborn kittens. When I had to admit to my colleague and friend that I was spending an inordinate number of hours a day in the kitten nursery room, he told me it was nothing to be ashamed of. He said, "Man, you've got a minor miracle going on in there." That fixed it.
