Hey couchsurfers, I'm Seth. I did a huge cross country road trip in 2014, then came back home to San Diego to finish my associate's in American Sign Language. Now I live in DC and attend Gallaudet where I study mathematics.

I'm a fairly introverted guy; I usually don't mind an evening at home on the computer, or watching netflix with snacks and drinks. I'm quite friendly though and definitely enjoy getting to know my hosts whether it's game nights, talking about past travel experiences, or any number of topics. I'm an INFJ on the MBTI, a Ravenclaw, and a 4 on the Enneagram if that means anything to you.

I love exploring scenic points of any city. I usually find the prettiest places are on the outskirts. I love photo walks or hikes.

When I go out, I like breweries, dive bars, and relaxed atmospheres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ridden the tallest roller coaster in the world, been a zookeeper for penguins (and flamingos and other birds), gotten a photo featured on a PacSun shirt, swam with some sharks, interacted with arctic foxes, beluga whales, and a walrus, driven across the country by myself twice and soon three times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always interested in learning new languages. I speak very basic Spanish, and conversational ASL. Glad to practice, or teach the little I know! Really there's a lot I'm open to learning. Teach me how to fold your favorite paper airplane, crocheting, or how to cut down a tree with an axe. I'm down!

I can definitely teach you tricks of the camera trade as well as a couple card games. I can share with you my some-level-of-eclectic music taste, introduce you to some unique electronic or rock jams.
