ABOUT ME

I see myself as a pretty open guy. I'm a huge fan of laughing and have a soft spot for good puns. I'm currently working on a bachelor's degree in computer science at Colorado Mesa University. One of the things I love most is hearing about people's stories and life experiences. I am a Christian and strive to live following the example of Jesus Christ: loving God and loving people.

I love sports and outdoor activities, especially soccer, ultimate frisbee, running, rock climbing, table-tennis, and longboarding. I'm also a fan of creating and performing secret handshakes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite recently read books include A Grief Observed and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper. A lifelong fan of the original Star Wars trilogy and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Inception is also one of my all-time favorite movies. I listen to lots of alternative/indie/acoustic music. But chances are that if it's fun and upbeat I'll listen to it. Favorite current artist is Josh Garrels.

Teach, Learn, Share

As far as teaching goes, I know a good amount of math and have a solid basic knowledge of computers. I speak English fluently and am good with grammar and spelling. I know a little bit of German, too.
I would love to learn more German and Spanish along with any other handy life or survival skills you might have to offer. Also I'm trying to improve my cooking skills. They're weak at best.
