Overview
About Me
I'm a born-and-raised Alaskan who is most comfortable with a backpack, on a mountain, and in weather that is just a bit too cold. I am now living in Washington, D.C. discovering that I do also enjoy city life, the plethora of new people and the inherently transient atmosphere. That said, I'll take any chance I can to get out on top of a mountain any time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to couch surfing, but it is something I've been meaning to try for a couple years now. Excitement in new places gives me a thrill that I can't find elsewhere, and I take it whenever I can. I'm joining couch surfing to meet other people who are presumably in the same boat! Meeting people who are amid travels can be incredibly inspirational and a great way to change up the routine.
