Aloha everyone!

My name is Sebastien, you can call me Seb. I am a young entrepreneur who is passionate about travelling & connecting with others. I love food, healthy living sport, photography. (Alright let's be honest, Food is my passion).

I am a Local of Liege (B), L'escala (ES), Exeter (UK), Maastricht (NL) & Sydney (AU) and like so many of you, a true citizen of the world (for those of your who haven't seen the TEDx Talk of Taiye Selasi "Don't ask where I am from, ask where I am a local", I highly recommend it). I caught the travel bug about 7 years ago and it seems to only get worse (or better depending on how you want to see it!) I love travelling the World, learning new languages and discovering a bunch of amazing people and cultures along the way.

I try to live by a few simple and yet powerful principles that I strongly believe in. One of them is the following.

1. If you do not GO after what you want, you’ll never have it.
2. If you do not ASK, the answer will always be NO
3. If you do not STEP FORWARD, you’ll always be in the same PLACE.

I love organising events and building communities of passionate people. What drives me is taking part in all sorts of projects and challenges, and no matter how hard things sometimes get. I believe that the Key to success is simply to never give up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I am on couch-surfing is because I believe that the best part about travelling are the connections that you make with the people you meet along the way. I have been travelling a fair bit over the last 8 years and realised that I spent quite a lot of time in hostels or at friend's place. Therefore I decided to start finding a better way to meet extraordinary people and share; a drink, a meal, a conversation, a bed or simply travel experiences with the thousands of likeminded people out there on CS!

Interests

I would say that I love food! From cooking delicious meals to food photography, I could talk about food/eat for hours. I also love sport, photography and walking around to discover beautiful landscapes. I am a big fan of sports in general and particularly like to play beach volley ball.

I am very interested in learning as much as possible from as many people as I possibly can about virtually anything. I set out the goal to learn at least one small thing from every person I will be staying with and if they want to try to teach them one little thing in return.

I want to become fluent in Spanish, it's an old promise I made to myself and I think it is high time for me to accomplish, so if you feel like you can help me to reach this goal, please let me know.
