Hi, I'm Damian, a Cairns-born Aussie living in Indonesia.

As a self-proclaimed introvert, I've found my happy place amidst the trees and forests of South Borneo.

I'm passionate about harnessing the power of Trees 🌳🌴 and nature to empower local farmers and promote sustainable land use.

My work takes me on fascinating journeys, from the rubber plantations of Sumatra to the durian orchards of Java, and the agarwood forests of Kalimantan.

When I'm not geeking out over forest ecology 🌴🤓❤️ or collaborating with farmers, you can find me hiking through the jungle, or exploring local art scenes.

I have been on and off Couchsurfing for years.
I am from Cairns, Australia.... but I live in Indonesia now.

I love to Host but unfortunately I cant at the moment.

But I really enjoy getting to know people from all over the world, sharing stories and laughs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed many couches and met lots of fellow couch surfers. I regularly join hangouts and just meetup with fellow travelers.

I Don't know why, but CouchSurfing doesn't list my couchsurfing history 😒
