ABOUT ME

Uh... the harsh part! How would I be able to put a whole big me into that small box? I could say that I enjoy meeting new people and traveling, that I am curious and open-minded but I guess that's all very common among Couchsurfers...
So I'd add that I'm an enthusisatic plan-maker, which does not mean I am a very organized person - as achieving those plans is not necessarily the aimed goal. I also like thinking that I am pretty diplomatic, not complicated and I adjust easily. I try to see the best in every situation and to avoid making dramas of everything - just trying to enjoy life!
After working on international cooperation projects/international relations, mostly with Asia and Northern Africa, I relocated to Israel and I'm now employed by a high tech company that deals with health.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Er... I host and surf?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great memories from one or the other side of couchsurfing because hosting or surfing are both a way to travel, and a great one for that matter.
Two among others : drinking wine with Alan-from-California in front of Beaubourg (in Paris) talking half night long, or sharing an incredible traditional laotian dinner with a whole bunch of couchsurfers at Ben's place in Vientiane (Laos).

Interests

Having never ending debates with friends (from the Miss France elections to the Welfare State's future) and losing hundreds of hours of sleep - Exhibitions (though , since I moved out of Paris...) - Urban studies (basically anything that mentions "urban") - Concerts - Bollywood dance and dramas (cannot get enough of the weeping Shah Rukh Khan) - Walking around in a city - Having good food, good drinks with good company - Making schedules and lists that I never end up fitting in - Board games played preferably in the middle of the night (three elder brothers : I had to be somewhat a geek) ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter, Kundera's Unbearable lightness of being, I am not a literature elitist person, I almost love anything I read!
Music I listen to is French "Nouvelle scene" (but I have to admit that I suck at music classification! I never understood the difference between metal/hard rock/neo industrial metal etc), pop-rock classics and an occasional guilty pleasure with easy listening songs. A Bollywood song can also make my day!
I am pretty uncultured about classical movies, but I do enjoy Woody Allen's films. I'm also a lot more into TV shows than I should admit to (Borgen, Hatufim or House of cards made me lose a lot of sleep hours lately :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked in the everlasting snow of the Himalayas. Took a train in 3rd class during 52hrs and 3.000 kms (from the southern cape of India to Delhi).
