I am someone who likes traveling and am glad to meet new people around the world. I am rather calm but friendly and open-minded.

My place is not so big and there is only one small couch (200cm long) so I can host only one people. But I have one bedding so one more person can sleep in the living room if it is fine for you(no worries about cold in the floor, we have Ondol).

I'm living in the area called Hongje/Hongeun, northwest side of central.
It takes 1) 20 min walk from Hongje station (subway line 3) or 2) about 25 min by bus from both Hongdae(Hongik univ. station)/Shinchon(Shinchon station) area and Gwangwhamun/Jongro(Gwangwhamun station) area. The nearest bus stop is Seoul Women's College of Nursing (no. 13169 or 13168).
It is good who likes local place with nature: the streamlet near will bring you to Han River by an 8km walking&bicycle road and the hiking course to the Bukhansan(Bukhan Mountain) is very near also.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With my working and researching, I am busy doing a lot of stuff every day, but I still love to share my place with everyone who travels their life.
All the LGBTIQ is welcomed. Vegetarian is welcomed. :)

Animations and comics, painting, travel, and cooking.
I especially love the sea and somewhere that is open and has vast scenery.
As a researcher on law and activist in the LGBTI movement, so human rights issues, and gender issues are my interest, too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My schedule is very fluid, so I probably cannot tell you if you give me a message so early before you plan to stay.
Mother-tongue is Korean, fluent in Japanese, and intermediate in English, but just for a daily life talk it won't make you inconvenient although we can only communicate in English.
