CURRENT MISSION
Experience different cultures, learn languages and see the world!
ABOUT ME
I'm very very tall. I am 77 inches tall (almost 2 meters). I love to wear fun hats and have fun conversations. My favorite thing to do while traveling is sit outside at a sidewalk cafe eating local food while talking with someone from another country! I am fascinated by other cultures and languages.
TRAVEL
I live in the USA for about 6 months each year. While in the USA, I live in a custom build step van camper (see photos). I typically like to travel around the western USA camping in National Forest and free publics lands. I have traveled to over 50 countries now and I love both learning languages and trying to understand different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
To give you an idea of my interests, here is a brief list of my likes and dislikes. Some of my favorite music groups include Depeche Mode, Crystal Method, Goldfrapp, Wolfsheim, Covenant and Billy Idol. I dislike hard gangster rap and classic country. I don't have TV, but am a huge movie fan. I watch several movies in my home theater each week and see several blockbuster films in the theaters each year. I enjoy almost any movie with the exception of what I classify as "stupid" humor (like Police Academy, etc) and movies where everything goes from bad to worse (Money Pit, Planes, Trains & Automobiles). I like happy endings and artsy movies as well as those with great special effects (they are fun to watch in surround sound!). I've read hundreds, if not thousands of books. I recently purchased an Apple iPad and am buying digital books. I miss the feel of paper as I read, but it with my iPad I'm able to have hundreds of books (Kindle and Nook) in one small device.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived on Jewish Kibbutz in Israel for over six months. Visited Egypt for two weeks and had amazing orange juice in Luxor. I spent two weeks in Belize with friends exploring jungle and diving the barrier reef. I lived in Berlin for almost 6 months and in Guatemala for almost 6 months. Both were amazing experiences!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very willing to share anything I've learned. Many of my friends refer to me as a mentor or life coach because I often combine a unique way of trying to find ways to help people gain greater happiness and excitement in their lives and make their work place more productive and pleasant.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Helping those with English as a second language improve their English skills. I can help with cleaning of the host's house while staying there.
