Im a physicist studying theoretical quantum phenomena. Yea i know it sounds boring, so let's stop talking about it. My interests are wide spread, I was playing double bass in orchestras for 5-10 years, was active in german politics and in water rescue. All that sadly hat to stop because of my studies, but i developed new interests: I love to cook and develop recipes, grow different carnivorus plants, and like photography. What more to say? I'm open and a bit sarcastic, @audiophiel on Twitter if you want to get a better picture.

Two important things: I do not tolerate sexism and racism. Generally I'm left orientated (politically). When you think that is a problem, you should neither accept me as a guest nor ask me as a Host.

The other note is for potential guests: "Maybe Accepting Guests" means I'm principally in the county, but something could have came up, you should not waste requests if you are not desperate. For times marked as "Accepting Guests" the chances are significantly higher, that i do have time.

I'm an atheist but respect different cultures, you might get some sincere questions, since I'm really interested in other world views.

What I can give you, when you stay with me: A lot of random facts and thoughts around science, politics and other topics, a meal tailored to your dietary restrictions. Also I know a lot about the Freiburg cathedral (Münster) and I'm always happy to share that.

Couch surfing brings you closer to interesting people, since I like people, that sounds like a great idea!

Rhythms i like in languages i don't know. (Seriously, the weirder the better). Also older Rock (Queen, Midnight Oil, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd etc). Classic (Beethoven, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich) and Jazz (Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, John Coltrane)
