About Me

CURRENT MISSION

discover new people and share adventures or travels

ABOUT ME

a happy and athletic family of 4 enjoying the ocean, natural settings and of course travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't listen to your fears, they love stealing your dreams

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are ready to welcome OTHER FAMILIES or FOREIGNERS because we enjoy speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese! We can show people nice places to visit and advise them on fun things to do. We are not so fond of people who only look for a free place to stay. We love sharing things with our hosts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We spent 5 days in Mozambique in 2009. That was our first experience as surfers and it was amazing!
Since that trip, we have hosted many travelers. FOREIGNERS or FAMILIES with children are our preference. One important thing to know: CS is about exchange. If you only expect to stay in a nice and free place, you are not welcome in my house! ;)
Then during our tour in South America in a small motorhome, we met very nice couch surfers!

Interests

travels abroad, sports in nature (surfing, snorkeling, sailing, canyoning, beach tennis...), good red wine/good food.

Music, Movies, and Books

world music is great but we think the best music is definitely from the 70's and 80's! we love reading but our choice is very eclectic!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

been to Australia, Bali, United States, Spain, South Africa, Mozambique, England, Scotland, Morocco, Mexico, Seychelles, Mauritius, Indonesia, Thailand, etc... and all around South America.
We spent 8 months in South America with the kids in a small motorhome in 2014.
Any amazing things? Spending two nights and days on the Uyuni Salar, listening and watching ice breaking at the Perito Moreno, wandering among the ruins at Machu Picchu, doing the ola in the Maracana stadium during the world cup, witnessing flamengoes in San Pedro de Atacama, enjoying the snow in Bariloche, sleeping in the middle of nowhere in Patagonia...

Teach, Learn, Share

teach a fabulous chocolate cake and some songs on the guitar.
learn cooking from other countries.
share a good red wine, a good ice-cold beer or some sweet tropical punch.
