Considers herself a gypsie, or better say world citizen, coming from a turkish-german background, sometimes I get language wise confused and begin therefore either to imitate animal sounds or I just sing, mostly folk songs of the balkan where I feel personally at home.

New to Zurich and considering this town as my home for the next one and a half year

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everything began in Istanbul few years ago, when I met accidently my childhood-friend from Kusadasi that I didn´t see for decades. He was studying in Istanbul and lived with few friends in a living community where they hosted regular Couch-surfers. That inspired me a lot to participate also in such a program.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first host were Dessi and Philip on Christmas 2011 in Sofia/Bulgaria. It was really nice, because I was just writing 1 week before my travel and they quickly answered and offered me their couch :) I stayed nearly 1 week though we were planing that I´ll stay just 2-3days. But there was such a good energy between us so they invited me to stay on Christmas as well. And I ate the best Christmas dinner of my life and felt really like home. Other CS experiences I made in Istanbul with crazy Kerem and Hitchhikers from all around the world.
