To expand my network of friends, to gain insights from people with different backgrounds / cultures and (if available) assist travellers with a place to stay.

ABOUT ME

I am 34 years old. I have done a fair bit of travelling over the years (Europe, Asia, North America, Africa and Oceania regions). Took a full year of work in 2017 to travel the world

I would describe myself as an easy going guy, who gets along with almost anyone, and all nationalities. I started hosting back in October 2012. The idea was to meet fellow couchsurfers and to expand my network of friends throughout the world. When I had the time, hosting was enjoyable, and I now have some lifelong friends from it.

I play cricket in the summer, and Australian football (AFL) in the winter. I also work fulltime so I don’t host these days.

In addition to travelling internationally, I have travelled extensively in Australia. I can offer advice on places to see and go throughout the entire Western Australia and almost anywhere in Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am offering a bed at my house to stay. I have built and own my own home, so I am happy to try and assist travellers where possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been been hosting couchsurfers since October 2012, and everyone I have met is fantastic. I am yet to have a bad experience. I have also had some good mates do couchsurfing all over the world in Europe, Asia, North America and South America, and they loved it.
