ABOUT ME

I enjoy making people laugh, sharing ideas and information - factoids as I like to call them. If we meet, you'll see what I mean... I really enjoy traveling, it gives me a feeling of freedom and humility, just as playing music. Remembering that not everyone is lucky to have those things that we take for granted. Meeting new people, making new friends, and doing things with others are important parts of what life is all about after all, aren't they?... I have quite a set of varied interests and I fear that I may not have enough time to delve deeply enough into all of them...

PHILOSOPHY

Be as good to others as you can and act as you would want them to act towards you. Positive gestures don't need to be rewarded to be made or appreciated. Learn from everyday life and appreciate what you have. Don't waste - it is amazing what you can see in some other parts of the world - it really opens your eyes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have really enjoyed living in San Francisco for the past few years or so: this city is so full of life.

In that time, I have found myself hosting some of you. I have participated in as many events as I can and having a blast doing so the whole time through... I feel privileged to have met some utterly wonderful people thanks to CS. I'd like to start volunteering my time around the great concept that is CS so as to make it better than it already is.
I'm looking for interesting people who are well traveled like me, who cares about exchanging experiences, thoughts and hanging out and not only in finding a bed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past year or so (and apart from one experience), Couchsurfing has been a phenomenal journey... I have made new friends, learned a lot about new potential destinations and I hope in my own small tiny way, I have helped make this world a better place... I have hosted individuals, couples or even small groups from 1 night to what turned out to be 12 weeks.

Interests

Music [I'm a professional Musician - you are welcome to tag along with me and my friends to the various shows I go and perform at], nature, art, some literature especially the Classics, museums, architecture, opera, musicals, soccer, skiing, hiking, kayaking, photography, traveling, movies, a good wine, some good food, and more importantly great company... and while I play the Guitar and have been doing so for many years, I also admit to enjoy outdoors too. Beyond that, I'm always up for a game of ping-pong, pool, soccer, volleyball... or a night of sitting around playing board games... h and have I mentioned pillow fights (don't worry I will take it easy on you if you are new to this)

I've had a few amazing experiences, the most memorable one is being totally naked on top of the himalayas for 30 seconds
