ABOUT ME

Friendly, easygoing, grew up in Melbourne, have been working as a graphic designer for the past few years.

It's time to head overseas, shake things up, meet some peeps, see some stuff and have some good times!

I love... my family & friends, graphic design, typography, catching up for beers, laughing at myself, dinner and wine with mates, art, onesies, funny videos on youtube, cooking, hand-painted signage, boxing & kickboxing, architecture, sunshine, balmy evenings, bargains, cheese, Meredith and Golden Plains (music festivals), late breakfasts, puns, gin and tonic, riding my bike, unexpected big nights, thinking in French and... travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this whole thing, but CS has come highly recommended from friends. They say the best times of their travels were because of couch surfing, so I'm gonna see what it's all about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is a favourite, brings out the tears every time. Am also making my way through a list of TV series I want to watch; just finished The Wire which was the most incredible show, was so sad when it finished - I want to meet Omar! Music taste is pretty hard to describe - it all depends on my mood. A few favourites would be Mos Def, LCD Soundsystem, Tribe Called Quest, Unkle, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, the XX, Rolling Stones, Peaches, Black Keys, White Stripes, Mia Dyson, Chemical Brothers, Johnny Cash, MIA, Prodigy, Iggy Pop, De La Soul, RJD2, Bo Diddley, Dr Dre, Gomez, Hepcat, NERD, Beth Orton, Bob Dylan, and I can't help dancing to Technotronic's Pump Up the Jam!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on the peak of a giant sand dune in the Sahara desert, watching the shooting stars.
