Very open-minded person that enjoys meeting new interesting people that can challenge me intellectually but also have a good time. One of the best parts about being a teacher is the opportunity to travel during our breaks.

I love to meet new people on my travels, and once my new house is finished, I'm also excited to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a few times, and I've had nothing but great experiences. It's always amazing to me how gracious and open people are around the country and world. Look forward to more great experiences in the future.

Interests

Music (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Kings of Leon, Muse, and many others), cooking, environmental issues, concerts, dive bars, travel, road trips, bike riding, farmers markets, etc. Myself and a friend host a local radio show in Indianapolis as a side project.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite place in the world is Yellowstone. I don't really like the crowds, so I like to get off the beaten track. My favorite experience in Yellowstone was hiking through the backcountry and we came over a ridge as the sun was setting to see a huge herd of buffalo moving across the valley. It was incredible.
