CURRENT MISSION

As a comedian I'm trying to perform as many English speaking/Dutch speaking gigs all over the world. This allows me to get outside of my comfort zone and gives me a lot of inspiration for my artwork. (I'm a painter too)

ABOUT ME

Well I was born on january 1st 1979.
I have lived in Apeldoorn, Holland for 4 years when I was a kid, then moved back to Brussels, Belgium.

I have 2 master degrees (engineering and computerscience) but my real passion is stand-up comedy and arts. I have been drawing cartoons and making paintings on a regular basis since 2002 and I have been doing stand-up comedy since 2006.

I have played Belgium and Holland and I did 2 tours in the US (2009 + 2010) up until now. I mainly stayed with people I knew, but now I want to visit more cities in the US...

To be fully honest with you, if I would stay at your place the downside would be:
- I kind of snore
- My goal is to get on stage every night so I don't know what time I would be coming in at night

On the bright side: I'm a pretty good cook so I could cook for you and since I'm from Belgium I could also bring you some of the best chocolate you have ever eaten ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, i just signed up because some friends have had very positive stories to tell about couchsurfing... I want to give it a try and if it works fine for me, maybe I'll host people too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I always stayed with people I had met in real life before. Sometimes I knew them for years, sometimes I met them doing comedy and I slept on their couch a year later.
