My current favourate city in China is Shanghai so I moved here. If I could choose to live in the Forbidden city of Beijing, I might change my ideas. All the good ereas of Beijing have been occupied by institutions of goverments.
HK is too crowded for longtime staying despite of all the superb multi-cultural enviroments.
London probably is my favourate within Europe and no need to learn a third language contributes much.
I am gonna explore middle America soon...
