About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play in New Zealand! Bike touring, hiking, climbing, music, and art.

ABOUT ME

Hey there :) My friends would say that I am friendly, easy going, kind, caring, honest and a reasonable human being. I tend to be the person who is helping another where ever I can. Eventually I'd like to be working on some community development project (still under construction). My enthusiasm transcends into the amount of things I fill into my life such as immersing myself in subjects i like at uni, exchanging skills, physical activity like rock climbing (hiking and riding bicycles are on my list of things to do more of). I thrive off being immersed in things I am doing. I tend to find myself surrounded by people, from all walks of life and enjoy the many friendships I have made through out my life. My openness to multiple aspects of my life keep me in an optimistic approach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only couch surfing experience is attending a massive hide and seek game in the Kuala Lumpur Ikea with 40+ people. I have yet to host people and surf peoples couches.

I like that CS is a catalyst for knowing more...about people you meet through hosting or surfing, places one travels to and ideas. The never ending possibilities of exchanging smiles, friendship, and knowlege adds value to my (and hopefully your) life.

Interests

Rock climbing, hiking, sports, socialising, dancing, making things (gardening, drawing, painting, cooking), singing and making music/jamming, learning new things, social sciences, nature, Persian rugs, cloud watching whilst listening to classical music, trying new things, dumpster diving, learning languages, skill swapping, stuff swapping, space,...and it goes on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anime TV series: Naruto, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, Cowboy BeBop.

Movie: tooo many, but generally adventure, drama, art house, comedy. Not trashy stuff, unless its trashy romcoms for times of need.

Music: The Babe Rainbow, The Beatles, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Tame Impala, more psychedelic tunes, Buena Vista Social Club, acoustic tunes, just getting into ambient music, classical, music to dance to like cumbia, salsa, hiphop/triphop.

Books: The Three Musketeers, The Mask of Zorro, The Alchemist, The Chrysalids and The Day of the Triffids both by John Wyndham [trying to read more books currently I am reading 1984]

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of friends and I went on a hike along a beach and cliff area on Bruny Island in Tasmania. The views were surreal and beautiful, making me feel like this is what life should be about. Enjoying good company and appreciating the goods of the world around us.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to draw and i'm alright at it so I can teach people basic drawing techniques and how to cook some Persian dishes. I'm currently studying Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology. I love learning and I am open to new things! I can offer hair cuts and massages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Practical skills I can share are my basic skill of hair cutting (I have happy clients [aka friends] who have been happy with it 99% of the time), shoulderand back massages. I can contribute to the housewhether it be cooking, cleaning or company. I also can contribute conversation, friendship, hugs, and a head to rest in my beautiful home of Hobart, Tasmania if you were to ever make it there (which you definitely should, it's a beautiful city on a beautiful island).
